Thailand Resort Detox Retreat
The city of Chumphon is known as the gateway to the south, its located 463 kms south from Bangkok. Along its 222-km. coastline, there are many beautiful beaches and bays as well as offshore islands. Chumphon is also rich in fruit plantations, national parks with mountains with a number of waterfalls and caves.
The Ashstar Wellness Programs are based at 'Thung Wua Laen Beach', a long beautiful sandy beach ideal for swimming.
It is situated 15 kms north-east of the town of Chumphon. We have two levels of accommodation available, standard bungalows with air con and hot water and larger superior bungalows with one or two bedrooms and bathrooms.
All our accommodation is set in a lovely natural garden overlooking an excellent sandy beach with its terquous water. Visits to the near by island and national parks and well a dive trips can also be arranged.
We are a long way from the 'Kamikaze' package tour ‘crowd’, we cater for those who enjoy natural surroundings in a peaceful Thai environment.
Chumphon is the main major jumping off point to Koh Tao, fast boats to and from Koh Tao, Koh Phang Ngan and Koh Samui leave several times a day.
